Job Description:
Cypress Memory Products Division Customer Application Engineering team is looking for a qualified candidate for our Shenzhen China office. This position will support the Sales team and customers by assisting in the design, implementation and testing of systems using our products. The candidate must have a desire to be a key contributor and should enjoy helping enable customers with flash memory technology.
Required Skills
1. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. A desire to work in embedded systems.
1. C/C++/assembly language experience, IDE/debugging experience
2. ARM core experience -Must be able to assist customers with code examples, code implementations, code reviews, test code development, debugging, schematic reviews, consultation, problem duplication, etc.
3. Must be able to communicate with customers efficiently
4. Must be proactive
5. Must communicate with the factory for deep technical support, failure analysis, bug tracking, case management, etc.
6. You must be able to follow our processes and document your work.
7. Previous employment in an embedded systems role would be highly desirable
8. Experience with I2C, SPI, RS232 or other MCU related interfaces desirable
9. Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) experience desired
10. Comfortable with use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, bus analyzers and related electronic equipment for use in test and debug
11. Ability to problem solve and systematically work to root cause
12. Enthusiastic and high-energy with a strong desire to win
13. Self-motivated as an individual contributor
14. Strong sense of customer service
15. Effective communication skills
16. Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize level of support based on customer needs and management direction
17. Can organize and track a large number of tasks on multiple unrelated projects
18. Smart, honest, innovative and confident
19. PCB development, FPGA/CPLD development, Verilog coding would be a plus
